Machine 2025 Tryout Information Sign-up

We will be having three rounds of tryouts with the dates and times below:
Hat tourney - Sunday 4/6 at 10 am to 3 pm at Wash Park
Second round (invite only) - Saturday 5/10 and Sunday 5/11 9am - 1pm at Wash Park
Last round (invite only) - Saturday 6/7 9 am - 3 pm
Considerations: Machine traditionally practices on most Saturday/Sunday mornings from June through October at Washington Park on the south side of Chicago. Outside of practices, players attend locally formed pod workouts (consisting of throwing, footwork, and conditioning drills) one night each week, in addition to independent strength training. Team members are expected to attend all practices and tournaments. While the team does receive limited sponsorship and fundraising, total team dues and travel expenses for the season can reach upwards of $2,000. We expect to be attending two travel tournaments which will probably require flying this summer in addition to the series in the fall. We recognize that participation in elite club ultimate comes with numerous barriers that do not affect team members equally. Machine incorporates a sliding scale system for team dues and is committed to making participation in the season financially viable for every team member.
